Weekend fun: Players break into stadium and celebrate sex party
Scandal around the Norwegian first division club Brann Bergen: According to media reports, twelve players of the club penetrated into their stadium last weekend to celebrate a dissolute party there.
Twelve players of the Norwegian football first division club Brann Bergen caused a stir at the weekend. According to media reports, the footballers, along with four women, allegedly entered their own stadium after a club night to celebrate a sex party there.
As the magazine “Voetbal International” reports, the athletes met after the team training on Thursday for a joint dinner and then moved on to a nightclub. But the party was apparently not enough for them. So the footballers, accompanied by four women, probably entered their own stadium.
“Exuberant activities on the pitch and in the dressing room”
What sounds like a crazy idea, however, seems to have been planned exactly like this. According to this, the teammates had allegedly agreed in advance not to take their smartphones with them, so as not to leave evidence of their trip. But they obviously made the calculation without the security cameras in and around the stadium, which filmed the intruders at every turn.
What happened next, the Dutch newspaper describes with the words ” boisterous activities on the field and in the dressing room.”The film recordings now serve as evidence. Players were not allowed to enter the stadium.
Fun on the weekend: Club boss horrified
The club was dismayed. Vibeke Johannesen, the manager of the last-placed team in the Norwegian league, said: “They were drunk, went to the stadium and had a party. We are also aware that there are rumors about taking illegal drugs, so we will test the players. It is a deeply tragic and sad matter for the club and all involved. We take this very seriously and have already held a meeting.”
Because of the illegal entry into the stadium and alleged consumption of illegal substances, the police are now investigating. The fans of the club already showed what they thought of the action: during the following home game, a banner was visible to everyone in the fan curve. “Scum” was written on it-roughly translated as “scum”.
