The payment provider Paypal goes into business with Bitcoin and prompt the crypto-currency gains in value.

The digital currency Bitcoin rose on Wednesday to its highest level since July of 2019. The payment service provider Paypal aims to make the buying and selling of so-called crypto-currencies.

Of course the oldest and best-known cryptographic currency, increased 8 percent to 12.854 US Dollar. Had a week at the beginning of the Bitcoin cost around $ 1,500.

Paypal customers in the United States can now trade via the Paypal platform for Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies and keep it. From January 2021 it should also be possible to pay at merchants using Paypal with Bitcoin.

“At least today is the start of a year-end rally to be might like,” said Timo Emden, analysts at Emden Research. “For the industry, the entry of PayPal into the crypto could have a business as a signal for other companies, which are already longer on the implementation of digital currencies, brooding.”
