Jürgen Klopp has jumped with Liverpool FC on the last matchday to the third place in the table and has secured the Champions League qualification. Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea FC can also be satisfied.

Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool FC have qualified for the Champions League. On the last day of the English Premier League, the German coach’s club won against Crystal Palace 2:0 (1:0) on Sunday and finished the season with 69 points in third place. The Senegalese international footballer Sadio Mané ensured the celebrated success with his goals in the 36th and 74th minutes in front of 10,000 spectators at Anfield Road.

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea have also moved into the premier league. The team around the DFB trio Timo Werner, Antonio Rüdiger and Kai Havertz lost at Aston Villa with 1:2 (0:1), but saved the fourth starting place with 67 points. The Champions League finalist benefited from Leicester City’s 2:4 (1: 1) (66 points) against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham must enter the Conference League

Tottenham saved the international competition thanks to two late goals from Gareth Bale (87./90.+6) and will compete as seventh in the Conference League. In addition to Leicester, West Ham United qualified for the Europa League by beating Southampton 3-0 (2-0) in the sixth place. Arsenal remain eighth despite a 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion and missed the international competition.

Manchester City easily beat Everton 5-0 (2-0). Sergio Agüero scored twice in his last City game. Manchester United won 2-1 at Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-1). Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United were relegated.
