Crisis in Royal blue
False grip with controversial TikTok-Video: Schalke-Fans talking shit about their club
It was well-meant and went to the back of Schalke 04, has published on TikTok a Clip that was meant as a little encouragement in a difficult time. Many followers find the Video, however, worse than the penultimate place of the table.
A Clip on TikTok energized the supporters of Schalke 04. The Social Media Department posted recently a short Video about the sporty crisis in the Royal blue. “Oh, what’s the matter, are You not well,” says an artificially distorted girl’s voice. “Does anything hurt? Ooooh. Want me to sing what? That always helps me, lalalalala. Please, stop crying.” The voice is underlaid with Black-and-White photos of Schalke players and coach Manuel tree. In addition, there is a rain effect.

The whole Clip is well-meant. Schalke with just a point after five Games on the penultimate place of the table. The crisis of the last season, place your continuation in the current season and last, there was a 0:3 defeat in the Derby against Borussia Dortmund – the low point. Add to that the financial plight of the Corona pandemic. Since the Social Media Department of the Association wanted to make with this Clip apparently for a bit of Amusement.

That didn’t work. A girl’s voice, to donate to the depressed on the footballers consolation – the special TikTok-Humor of the Clips is many of the supporters seem to bad. “Help, I really want to die”, “Without a joke, not even Schalke has deserve this” or “How can of the crap like this on the official Account @s04 when We post?!?!” were comments on Twitter. Fans showed up even with a poster in front of the office to complain.
The Association responded with understanding to the biting comments, but pointed down at the same time to the young target group of TikTok: “The Video on the currently spoken, was explicitly created for our TikTok-channel since the beginning of the season. We can, however, understand that many Fans will not find here on Twitter and Facebook such Video funny – especially if you are regularly active on this channel.”
