He grew up in Vermont and he honed his interviewing skills as a supermarket cashier by asking Bernie Sanders “Paper or plastic?” After graduating from Syracuse University in 1999, Jeff began his journalistic odyssey at The Watertown Daily Times in upstate New York, where he impressed then-U.S. Senate candidate Hillary Clinton so much she called him “John” at the end of an interview. From there, he went to Annapolis, Maryland, where he covered city, county and state government at The Capital newspaper. Today, Jeff writes about anything and everything. Along the way, Jeff has covered wildfires, a tropical storm, 9/11 and the Dec. 2 terror attack in San Bernardino. If you have a question or story idea about politics or the inner workings of government, please let Jeff know. He’ll do his best to answer, even if it involves a little math.
  • Justin Sun, Tron’s creator, announced plans for a decentralized payment structure.
  • The payment layer protocol will make settlements on the Tron blockchain quick and easy.

Artificial Intelligence is the latest buzz in almost all sectors. With tech giants like Google and Microsoft investing millions of dollars in startups focusing on AI. The crypto sector won’t stay far away either.

On Saturday, Justin Sun, Tron’s creator, announced plans for a decentralized payment structure built on the Tron blockchain and optimized for use with the ChatGPT and OpenAI AI systems. It’ll be a benchmark for the future of decentralized finance. Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies like ChatGPT when integrated with payment systems, would greatly improve their efficacy and ease.

Decentralized Payment System

On February 4, Tron creator Justin Sun tweeted about intentions to combine the Tron blockchain with artificial intelligence technologies like ChatGPT to create a decentralized payment system.

The framework incorporates a Tron blockchain-based smart contract system, a payment layer protocol, a calling SDK, and an artificial intelligence payment gateway. He argues that BTFS, a decentralized file storage system similar to BitTorrent, may be used to store user queries and AI responses generated by the smart contract system.

Additionally, the payment layer protocol will make settlements on the Tron blockchain quick and easy. The interface layer, meanwhile, offers consumers a common settlement method and an API for accessing AI-based services. However, the use of TRX and BTT is required for the complete lack of centralized storage and DAO administration.

According to Justin Sun, a decentralized payment system may be built on top of the Tron architecture. It is certain that the payment mechanism will be safe, reliable, tamper-proof, and able to withstand censorship. Additionally, the use of AI will aid in the development of a new intelligent, decentralized financial ecosystem.
