The TON Foundation has recently announced an airdrop for active NFT traders and holders worth $600K. An announcement was made by the TON Foundation on X about an airdrop of 105,600 TON. This was made available to active traders on the NFT markets of Getgems, xRare, and Ton NFT Diamonds.

The 105,600 TON airdrop snapshot was captured on April 23 at 8:00 AM CEST, according to the crypto firm’s statement on X. Importantly, the airdrop was open to active traders on the aforementioned NFT platforms from April 11 (2 PM CEST) until April 23 (8 AM CEST).

Redeem Points for TON

Moreover, having said that, the airdrop did not support Sybil wallet addresses, non-wallet addresses, or owners of NFT collections. Additionally, the event was open to all NFT collections on the aforementioned markets.

Furthermore, curiosity piqued, the TON Foundation decided against a point system that would have let users earn airdrop rewards based on a variety of on-chain criteria. It is worth mentioning that the user will get 1 point if the number of NFT collections transferred falls between 2 and 4. Likewise, the amount of points in hand grows in direct proportion to the number of collections traded, highlighting a straight proportional link between points gathered and incentives.

Points were also distributed according to other metrics, such as the total number of NFT transactions and the amount of NFT trading per user. Participants in the airdrop would be able to redeem their points for TON, the native token of the Ton blockchain, as incentives.
