Starbucks has launched the beta test of its highly anticipated Odyssey experience, which integrates customer loyalty benefits with a non-fungible token (NFT) collection and other gamified aspects. Starbucks teamed with the polygon in September to create the Starbucks Odyssey web3-powered experience.

Starbucks Odyssey Begins

Starbucks Odyssey is an extension of the reward loyalty program that offers consumers access to new benefits and experiences such as Journey. Which let them participate in a series of exciting, interactive activities. If one journey is complete the users will reward with Journey Stamps (NFTs)

And odyssey points, which will enable them access to additional benefits and immersive coffee experiences that they will not be able to obtain elsewhere. A select group of waitlist members is invited to participate in the beta test.

Members will be able to use the Starbucks Odyssey market beginning next year to purchase unique limited edition stamps designed by Starbucks partners. The stamps will recreate a new dimension of Starbucks, weaving together visual elements of Starbucks. It represents past, present, and future into beautifully layered pieces of artwork.

And Odyssey members can enjoy the web3 experience powered by the polygon. In recent times, most web3 initiatives have a hub on the polygon platform, which has featured DeFi protocols. Such as Aave, Uniswap V3, and NFT marketplaces. OpenSea has entered the web3 through a polygon gateway.
