With 1:0, the German national football team in Leipzig, Germany against the Czech Republic won. Was compromised, the victory never really completely satisfied with national coach Joachim Löw can’t be.

Joachim löw’s Apprentice-Eleven has opened in the last performances of the German national football team in the damn Corona-2020, with a fun test game victory against the Czech Republic. Prior to the two Nations-League point against Ukraine, and in Spain, the inexperienced Team liked to play to the newcomers Philipp Max and Ridle Baku in the evening, when 1:0 (1:0) in the viewers loose the Leipzig stadium with great commitment and joy of playing. The winning goal storm talent Luca waldschmidt scored on a template by Max the 13. Minute.

The largest point of criticism in the last eleven Games unbeaten Germany (six wins and five draws), the chance of recovery. The strong leader Gladbach Florian Neuhaus hit the post (76.). The Corona-cases-ridden guests, however, were on the offensive, is fairly harmless. The rarely required by Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, but against the substitute Matej Vydra class parried (82.), in his fifth match to finally celebrate the first victory.

Early goal secures Germany win against the Czech Republic

Most recently, in October, Löw remained only a team training in preparation for the first of three countries to play. He could not expect “that team cycle to work as much of it,” said the national coach. The starting line-up entered play on the Leipzig turf with the experience of 132 countries – the vast majority (107) combines the Trio of Julian Brandt, Antonio Rüdiger and Ilkay Gündogan, however, was replaced with a view on the Nations Cup on Saturday in Leipzig, and on Tuesday in Seville.

The discovery phase against the Czechs, the play, according to Löw also no “quick-fix football”, but only lasted a quarter of an hour. And the two debutants put up shiny. The wolf Burger Baku made shortly before the forest Schmidt’s second international goal a lot of pressure on the right side, Max, who was replaced in the summer to PSV Eindhoven, prepared the opening goal with a sharp pass from the left perfectly.

In midfield, captain Gündogan, for the then Mahmoud Dahoud came, and the eye-catching Neuhaus drew first of all, circumspect and confident with the ball in the German game. Neuhaus’ Gladbach team-mate Jonas Hofmann had to be early replaced with muscular problems in the thigh, for him Nadiem Amiri (20 came.). Shortly thereafter, Filip Novak blocked just Gündogans a lot of shot (27 promise.).

The DFB selection was in this stage, it is better played significantly more compelling than the Czechs, and their professionals can play in the domestic League after a longer period of Corona-break last weekend and again had. Brandt missed, but early in the second German goal when he shot involuntarily from Vaclav Jemelka placed the Ball in a free-standing about the gate (31.).

DFB-defence demanded a little

The German defence to the classic Robin Koch, Rüdiger and Jonathan Tah was less frequently demanded. Jan Kopic missed the goal by Trapp in one of the few Czech chances just before the break (45.) as well as Tomas Holes (72.). The build-up play from the three-chain, however, remained still capable of expansion.

The game was for “every individual” professional a Chance “to put in scene”, had Löw demanded. In the absence of many regular players to the strong Bavaria-Block with captain Manuel Neuer, the German DFB selection convinced almost the entire season, the chance of recovery except. Amiri failed twice in a row at the Czech national goalkeeper of Werder Bremen, Jiri Pavlenka (43.). Substitute Dahoud missed after good individual performance in the area of the 2:0 (60.).
