In Erfurt, unknown people attacked a 25-year-old and seriously injured him. According to information from the broadcaster MDR Thüringen, this was a neo-Nazi known to the police. According to a press release from the Erfurt State Police Inspectorate, the four to five people allegedly broke into the apartment by force.

They wore black clothes, with the inscription “police”. According to information from the broadcaster MDR Thüringen, they tied up the 25-year-old and doused him with liquid. After that, they would have broken the man’s leg. His girlfriend was also apparently left tied up at the scene.

After the deed, the unknowns escaped. According to the police, a political motive is not excluded. According to MDR Thüringen, the 25-year-old is a right-wing extremist who had already become conspicuous. He was therefore involved in a raid on a group of young people in front of the Thuringian State Chancellery last year.
