Doodles Launches New Digital Clothing Line and Airdrop for NFT Holders

Doodles has evolved from its original form as an Ethereum profile picture (PFP) to now allow for completely modifiable avatars. With the support of Pharrell Williams and Adidas. Today witnesses the release of the Doodles 2 Character Builder inside The Stoodio app for NFT holders.

In celebration of the release of the Character Builder, which will allow Doodles NFT holders to customize their avatars down to the smallest detail. The company has announced a forthcoming airdrop for a “Pharrell Pack.” Musician Pharrell Williams and the fashion labels he founded or works with are represented in the NFT bundle with digital apparel.

Pipeline of Brand Partners

The bundle includes digital Doodles apparel from Adidas, Human Made, the BBC, and Ice Cream. Each bundle contains digital wearables and a voucher redeemable for a single unique item of clothing.

Only 300 packs will be made. And those who own Doodles and meet the requirements will receive them at no cost. The webpage for the project states that in order to participate, one must have access to a Dooplicator NFT and an original Doodles NFT. If there are more than 300 persons who meet the requirements by the deadline. Then, a lottery will be performed to choose the winners.

In regards to the possibility of future collaborations or standalone digital apparel for Doodles. Joe Ranzenbach, Doodles’ Head of Product Management, would not confirm any such plans. However, he assured that Doodles has a “pipeline of brand partners” ready for upcoming releases.

Williams, the famous musician and record producer behind songs like “Happy,” has been associated with Doodles ever since he was designated the company’s Chief Brand Officer in June 2022.  While Doodles’ NFT-inspired album (executive produced by Williams) was announced for a Columbia Records release at the time, it has yet to materialize.
