RB Leipzig VfL Wolfsburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga number three, four and five have made the leap to the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal. For the Surprise League Jahn Regensburg provides a second.

1. FC Köln is excreted as the next football team, surprisingly, in the DFB-Pokal. The Cologne-based documents in the second round, as in the second-tier Jahn Regensburg 3:4 on penalties. After the early Stuttgart leadership by Silas Wamangituka (2.) shot by Marcus Thuram (45.+1) and Alassane Pléa (50.) the outcome in favour of Borussia Dortmund. In Leipzig he met Haidara (11. Minute), Marcel Sabitzer (45.+1), and twice Yussuf Poulsen (66./75.) for RB. Wout Weghorst (40.) scored for the wolf Burger the decisive goal in the margin according to a report issued foul penalty.

A day earlier, the Bundesliga side were Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund, the fed’s second-tier Holstein Kiel and surprisingly the regional tier Rot-Weiss Essen in the round of the last Eight.

On Sunday, the quarter-final draw-round. The games found at the 2. and 3. March. The semi-final games are for 1. and 2. May, provided the final is on the 13th. May in Berlin.
