Jeff Horseman got into journalism because he liked to write and stunk at math. He grew up in Vermont and he honed his interviewing skills as a supermarket cashier by asking Bernie Sanders “Paper or plastic?” After graduating from Syracuse University in 1999, Jeff began his journalistic odyssey at The Watertown Daily Times in upstate New York, where he impressed then-U.S. Senate candidate Hillary Clinton so much she called him “John” at the end of an interview. From there, he went to Annapolis, Maryland, where he covered city, county and state government at The Capital newspaper. Today, Jeff writes about anything and everything. Along the way, Jeff has covered wildfires, a tropical storm, 9/11 and the Dec. 2 terror attack in San Bernardino. If you have a question or story idea about politics or the inner workings of government, please let Jeff know. He’ll do his best to answer, even if it involves a little math.
  • The L2 blockchain platform provides a scalability option for Ethereum.
  • The platform also revealed Metarush, the first game developed by Myria Studios.

Myria, a layer-2 blockchain gaming platform, has introduced its native MYRIA token on the OKX trading platform. The MYRIA token generation event (TGE) and 45,000,000 MYRIA Airdrop have been announced by the Ethereum-based platform. In addition to OKX, MYRIA has announced its listing on other exchanges, such as Kucoin.

Using ZK roll-up technology, the L2 blockchain platform provides a scalability option for Ethereum. Instantaneous transactions at over 9000 TPS are now available to players and developers, along with free NFT minting and no gas costs.

Diversified Ecosystem

There are about 350,000 native Myrians and over a million people registered with Myria. In addition, Myria has improved game creation with its bespoke SDK, attracting more than 250 third-party gaming projects that are actively built on the platform.

In addition, famous cricket star AB de Villiers has joined forces with the blockchain gaming platform to release his P2E cricket game. At a private gaming session, the platform also revealed Metarush, the first game developed by Myria Studios.

Launching the MYRIA token on the Ethereum network is another milestone for Myria. The maximum amount of MYRIA tokens that may ever be created is 50 billion.

The ERC-20 coin has other applications beyond staking and governance, including in-game usage, the purchase of Myria nodes, and the payment of protocol fees. Myria’s native token, MYRIA, is vital to the ecosystem and helps maintain high levels of both supply and demand.

In addition to the introduction of MYRIA, the network has also hosted an Alliance Key NFT Airdrop. Players may be certain that the next second big NFT airdrop will be of use to them in-game.
