Somehow Bernie Sanders did not want to fit into the Setting of the inauguration of US President Joe Biden. On Wednesday, the Senator from Vermont made with his practical winter jacket and eye-catching knit gloves for a lot of conversation and a little Internet Hit.

Media described the dress of choice – combined with the sitting posture of Sanders with his arms folded – as the “grumpy chic” (sourpuss on her style). On Twitter after a very short time countless photo montagesthe Sanders in all possible and impossible situations showed.

It is the first Time that Sanders provides in this way for attention. The knit gloves arrived about a year ago at a performance of the politician’s celebrity. At the time, he stood as a candidate in the democratic primary against eventual winner Joe Biden.

Made from recycled sweaters and old plastic bottles, such as the Los Angeles Times reported, made it the hand warmer even to a private Twitter account. Under @Bernie mittens (Bernie’s mittens) are there to be admired until today the most beautiful performances of the gloves.
