The Messenger service Whatsapp is apparently on the verge of publishing a new function: user can set their Smartphones, therefore, soon, that sent messages after a certain period of time to expire and disappear.

The Messenger service Whatsapp is working constantly on new features and is apparently about to publish to its users a new feature: From the Website of the company indicates that users will be able to set that all messages of the Chats delete after seven days.

For every Chat, the function must be enabled before individually. This can also be done in private chat with a single Person as in the case of group chats with multiple participants – then the group admin can end the flow of messages to enable. The deletion period of seven days will not be able to change users well however.

Whatsapp: the expiration at the end of messages, where appropriate, but in the Chat

As the company itself makes clear, there are in spite of everything, trails, such as the expiration at the end of messages but more in the Chat can remain. For example, if a user quote one of the messages, it “may” be possible that she is also after the expiry of the seven days is still visible. Even if a Text is redirected into an other Chat, at the expiration messages are not enabled, the original message is visible. The function is activated

The expiration of messages on Whatsapp is not available. What time is the Facebook subsidiary is planning the Launch, also – for this, the company explains, however, how the function will be activated:

Users need to open, therefore, just a Chat, the name of the Person tapping and “Running messages” in the select. After confirming with “Next” or “Continue”, it is then possible to switch the function on. In group chat Admins can activate the trace messages in the same way.
