He grew up in Vermont and he honed his interviewing skills as a supermarket cashier by asking Bernie Sanders “Paper or plastic?” After graduating from Syracuse University in 1999, Jeff began his journalistic odyssey at The Watertown Daily Times in upstate New York, where he impressed then-U.S. Senate candidate Hillary Clinton so much she called him “John” at the end of an interview. From there, he went to Annapolis, Maryland, where he covered city, county and state government at The Capital newspaper. Today, Jeff writes about anything and everything. Along the way, Jeff has covered wildfires, a tropical storm, 9/11 and the Dec. 2 terror attack in San Bernardino. If you have a question or story idea about politics or the inner workings of government, please let Jeff know. He’ll do his best to answer, even if it involves a little math.
  • Space and Time are collaborating with Microsoft.
  • The duo will allow developers to deploy the Space and Time data warehouse directly from Azure Marketplace.
  • The deployment process with one click provides customers with a fast and efficient way to get started

According to the latest detail that surfaced, Space and Time and tech giant Microsoft are collaborating to make blockchain data accessible on the Microsoft Azure marketplace. The duo announces that developers will be able to now deploy the Space and Time data warehouse directly from the Azure marketplace.

The one-click deployment process enables customers to conveniently obtain, control, and conduct analysis on blockchain-native data. The collaboration will now allow businesses to utilize the benefits of a decentralized data warehouse. This is achievable without the necessity to rearchitect the existing infrastructure and without compromising on computing power or security.

“At Microsoft, we are empowering growth across emerging markets—including blockchain and distributed data.” “Together, Microsoft Azure and Space and Time will provide developers with the tools they need to build the next generation of blockchain use cases,” said Kathleen Mitford, CVP of Global Industry Marketing.

Linking blockchain data to Azure computing will produce fresh applications for base-layer blockchains as well as decentralized application developers.
