Jeff Horseman got into journalism because he liked to write and stunk at math. He grew up in Vermont and he honed his interviewing skills as a supermarket cashier by asking Bernie Sanders “Paper or plastic?” After graduating from Syracuse University in 1999, Jeff began his journalistic odyssey at The Watertown Daily Times in upstate New York, where he impressed then-U.S. Senate candidate Hillary Clinton so much she called him “John” at the end of an interview. From there, he went to Annapolis, Maryland, where he covered city, county and state government at The Capital newspaper. Today, Jeff writes about anything and everything. Along the way, Jeff has covered wildfires, a tropical storm, 9/11 and the Dec. 2 terror attack in San Bernardino. If you have a question or story idea about politics or the inner workings of government, please let Jeff know. He’ll do his best to answer, even if it involves a little math.

Isaac Hepsworth is an employee at Microsoft and knows the Codes well. As he took the curious, the newly launched Website of the White house under the microscope, he discovered something Surprising.

Normal Internet users are interested in, as a rule, only for how a Website looks and whether it works liquid. You guessed that behind the structure and design of a page, a lot of work, and complex Code, but want to do nothing to. To do this-that is for the most part, a Job for experts, and hackers.

The saw apparently for the site of the White house competent Tech staff. You are hidden in the Code of the newly converted page, a secret message that could only discover someone who thoroughly and with an expert glance, the long, for lay people absolutely incomprehensible lines of Code goes through. The Isaac Hepworth, a Microsoft employee did well.

Placement of the message is refined

And Hepworth found the secret message: “If you are reading this: We can use your help when you Renew and Improve”, is there hidden in the Code. And behind it is a Link. Isaac Hepworth, however, has a good Job, presumably he will remain faithful. The USDS can use all the good people but in any case: The authority was established in 2014 to bring the hitherto extremely outdated digital technology in politics and administration of the United States up to date and to ensure that the government, senators, employees, and the members can smoothly and safely operate in the network.

Currently, the USD has taken on a particularly important task: In cooperation with the U.S. Department of health, the staff of the hospital data from the values with respect to the Corona-treatments – demand, capacity, utilization. The American hospitals thanks to the digital expert now is the ability to see your data easily once a week to the Central database to pass on. 99 percent of all U.S. hospitals take on this.
