The biennial Digital Monetary Institute Symposium in London is one of the most prominent gatherings of central bank digital currency (CBDC) industry leaders. For the year 2023, Ripple is the first platinum partner.

Ripple, a San Francisco-based digital firm that develops infrastructure for global payments, has become the first platinum partner of the Digital Monetary Institute Symposium 2023 as per sources. This is a pivotal gathering for discussing CBDCs, financial transaction rules, commercial applications of blockchain technology, and related topics.

Moreover, CBDCs, money transfer legislation, blockchain applications in enterprises, and similar topics will all be discussed at this gathering.

Key Figures to Attend the Gathering

Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, (OMFIF), an impartial gathering place for central banking, economic policy, and public investment, is hosting the conference in London. On May 10 and 11, 2023, the in-person and virtual gatherings will coincide.

The head of public policy at Ripple, Susan Friedman, and the vice president of central bank relations, James Wallis, will both speak at the DMI Symposium 2023.

Key regulators (U.S. SEC, CFTC, EU Commission), and the chiefs of crypto-friendly firms, including officials from the central banks of China, Italy, Israel, Malaysia, and Brazil, will be in attendance at the conference. CBDCs, crypto assets, stablecoins, international payments, and tokenization tools will all be discussed at length at this conference.

Ripple collaborates on important CBDC projects all across the world, both as a technical and research partner. Moreover, Ripple will be looking forward to providing private distributed ledger systems for CBDCs based on the XRP Ledger blockchain architecture in addition to providing advice and technical assistance.
