Jeff Horseman got into journalism because he liked to write and stunk at math. He grew up in Vermont and he honed his interviewing skills as a supermarket cashier by asking Bernie Sanders “Paper or plastic?” After graduating from Syracuse University in 1999, Jeff began his journalistic odyssey at The Watertown Daily Times in upstate New York, where he impressed then-U.S. Senate candidate Hillary Clinton so much she called him “John” at the end of an interview. From there, he went to Annapolis, Maryland, where he covered city, county and state government at The Capital newspaper. Today, Jeff writes about anything and everything. Along the way, Jeff has covered wildfires, a tropical storm, 9/11 and the Dec. 2 terror attack in San Bernardino. If you have a question or story idea about politics or the inner workings of government, please let Jeff know. He’ll do his best to answer, even if it involves a little math.
  • ChatGPT can connect to the Hedera network and access a user’s HBAR and token balances.
  • After enabling the plugin, users may inquire in ChatGPT about their Hedera account.

The convergence of blockchain and AI is where ChatGPT and HBAR really shine. ChatGPT is able to safely connect with the Hedera network and its services. Including the Hedera Consensus Service (HCS), Hedera Token Service (HTS), and Smart Contract Service. Thanks to the decentralized attribute of blockchain networks.

With the help of a plugin, ChatGPT can connect to the Hedera network and access a user’s HBAR and token balances. ChatGPT customers will find it much less of a hassle to keep track of and administer their assets thanks to this integration, which allows for frictionless communication between ChatGPT and the blockchain.

Banking on AI

Tokens, such as HBAR and NFTs produced on Hedera, are held in accounts, which are entities maintained in the ledger. Ed Marquez, the developer, tweeted out instructions for making the plugin.

The plugin may be installed in the ChatGPT UI after development is complete and the API is live. After enabling the plugin, users may inquire in ChatGPT about their Hedera accounts’ HBAR and token balances. The necessary data will be retrieved through API calls made by the plugin to the Hedera mirror node.

Using blockchain technology, the authenticity of AI-generated material can be confirmed, increasing confidence in its veracity. Financial transactions inside ChatGPT settings are simplified and protected by HBAR’s speed and low transaction costs. Users don’t have to worry about excessive costs or delays while making micro-transactions, viewing premium content, or taking part in tokenized economies.
