The Los Angeles Lakers are only one win from the title in the NBA. The Team around Superstar LeBron James won the night on Wednesday against the Miami Heat 102:96 (49:47) and leads in the Best-of-seven final series 3:1. In the fifth game of the night on Saturday (3 PM CEST) can make the Lakers to their first title since 2010 clear.
In a tight game with a total of nine lead changes there were at no time a double-digit lead for a team. When the Lakers stood James, the 35-Year-old came on 28 points, twelve Rebounds and eight Assists.
Also Center Anthony Davis again played strong, he came up with 22 points, nine Rebounds and four Assists. In the final minute, Davis turned on: First he turned into a Threesome, then he blocked a layup attempt by Miami’s star player, Jimmy Butler. Butler came on 22 points, ten Rebounds and nine Assists.
“We know what is at stake”
“Both Teams knew the Situation. Everyone has fought for every Ball,” said James after the game. “We know what is at stake. The Job is not yet done. We now have an extra day of rest, we must keep our head up,” he said, “I will not sleep until the Job is done”.
The Lakers were already in place prior to the finals series as the top favorite for the title. Miami had finished his Conference only as the Fifth, in the Playoffs, but surprisingly Teams like the Milwaukee Bucks to a Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the tournament thrown.
Miami last had to fight with injury problems in the centre, Bam Adebayo, and Point Guard Goran Dragic had missed the past few games. In game four, at least, Adebayo was not returned, and his 15 points and seven Rebounds but not enough. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said: “in The end, there were some moments of truth. Probably the conclusion that you have won those moments of truth”.
